Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Kenbright Pension Administration Services Limited ("Kenbright") collects and uses personal data submitted through the Kenbright Individual Provident Fund online application, in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019 (Kenya).
1. What we collect
- Identity details: name, title, date of birth, gender, ID/passport number, KRA PIN, and a copy of your ID or passport.
- Contact details: physical address, town/city, mobile number, email address.
- Employment information and contribution preferences.
- Source-of-funds information (required for anti-money-laundering compliance).
- Beneficiary details you nominate: names, dates of birth, relationships, ID numbers, allocations, and contact information.
2. Why we collect it
To assess and process your application for scheme membership, to administer your membership and contributions once approved, to meet legal and regulatory obligations (including KYC/AML and tax requirements), and to contact you about your application and membership.
3. Storage and security
Application data is stored in access-controlled cloud infrastructure. Identity documents are kept in private storage accessible only to authorized pension administration staff. Data is encrypted in transit.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your data. Disclosure happens only as described in our Confidentiality & Data Protection statement — to scheme parties and where the law compels us.
5. Your rights
Subject to the Data Protection Act, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw an unsubmitted application by simply letting your draft expire (drafts expire 30 days after the last save).
